OK, I have one more detailed mini diorama. This one was inspired by the boiler graveyard scene in the Logging Camp, Main Street kit. I had painted and weathered some boilers from various manufacturers. Most of the ones shown are SW boilers. Also included is an SW junk horizontal boiler casting, and running through the center is a large casting of junk that was included in the Railroad Camp. I’ve had these castings sitting around, painted and weathered, so I though it’s time to put them to use.
These little scenes have been a lot of fun to build and they don’t take up a lot of time. They also help keep the creative juices flowing.
