August 2021 in Finished SW Build Pics
Not long ago, KEBMO thought things were too quiet on the Forum. I thought about posting my finished O’Neills but I’m just now getting to it. This is a popular kit and I don’t mean to detract from anyone else’s thunder; I post for posterity’s sake and I can point friends and family to the Forum for pix of my work. I have cleared off some space on one of our bookcases to display my last 3 SWSM dioramas.

Have to hand it to Brett, there’s a lot of stuff in this small space and that really amps up my appreciation when I’m finished and elicits nice comments from who visit us…and are steered toward the bookcase. I’ve finished the Lineside storage shed and am in the process of building a dio around it and “repurposing” old rolling stock and other stuff that’s been in dark storage for 15+ years. But it’s summertime and our grandson is visiting so there’s not much time in the “dio lab”. I need to clear the bench so I can get started on Blue Sky this fall.
