Hello everyone. I’ve had a long sabbatical from craftsman kit building. I started an O’Neil’s build several years ago. I got very well into it, then life happened. I had to deal with cancer. That pretty much put everything else in the back seat. It was impossible to be creative. It took a while but I’ve beaten it, at least for now. I’ve also retired, so now it’s time to build all these kits i put aside! My original build thread didn’t survive the transition to the new forum, but could be reconstructed. I have the complete file of photos. I packed everything away carefully, and have begun putting the tools and materials back together to finish the kit. When I’m ready, I’ll start a thread. It’s nice to be back!

Congrats on beating the cancer! I too had to take a break from building, albeit for other reasons. You may be able to ask JimM to resurrect your thread if you want to continue.
There is a specific thread in this forum for that purpose.
I tried to post a link to it, but you cannot post links. “The name of the thread is: Which thread(s) would you like to see transferred from the original forum?”
