Having built this a while ago, I have since discovered Photo Stacking. That is; Different focused images of the same subject, in the same spot, and merged in the computer to make one image in focus from foreground to the back.
I Had put this up on the old forum but will show it this new way. The other SW builds will come along later.

I agree with Brett, you can’t get a decent photograph without a decent subject. The modeling is outstanding. The foundation for the porch is awesome, the trackside details add a ton to the scene, and the software available to extend depth of field makes this a very worthwhile photograph.

I have been a user of Brett’s Fantastic models for many years. I was an active participant on the “Old Forum” but not so much on the new one. I have been busy “working on the railroad” and as a member of the NMRA I finally achieved my MMR this past year.
I have so many photos of my layout, but only recently discovered this new, at least to me, way of photographing the layout intimately. Most of the photographs are not of Brett’s models, but the several SW models I do have on the layout will have their portraits taken. My RR is an active and busy Model Railroad with all the models put to work as they should be.
My biggest project, the O-scale Sawmill will take some time to Image it out as it is big and in very cramped quarters.
To reply to Ray, the concrete porch, really is. I use Anchor Cement (real Concrete) for all my buildings that require slabs, roadside curbs and bridge abutments. I like a busy, somewhat dirty, scene and that gives it that perfect look of what I want to achieve.

The photo is amazing but the modeling even more so. Can’t wait to see more of your work. I investigated the anchor cement and found several brands with slightly different specs. Is there one brand that you like in particular because, I really like the look of your concrete and enjoy trying new ways to model?
